Never Be a Boastful

In life we have to tackle a lot of thing every day. Most of time we criticize other people due to our lack of sense or integrity. For example, T20 match were held in Mirpur Stadium between Bangladesh and India. As a Bangladeshi I always support and love Bangladeshi team but I know that we have some plights though we are emerging tiger among the South Asian countries. Being failed to win many of the supporters criticizes Indian team player Birat Kohli. They find out Birat Kohli used rubber bat and that’s why Bangladesh cricket team failed to win. You think of this matter, how much funny or kidding is this! Mahathir Muhammad, the ex prime minister of Malaysia, said that, `Bangladesh is full of assets but there goes a lot of dirty politics`! I agree with him on this point. We have the capability to win but also keep in mind that we have to prove that through our activities not by our words only.
May be you know the story of a boastful frog who lived in a pond. One day a tadpole was walking through the grass around the pond. Suddenly, a rogue and enraged ox arrived there and made a great havoc on that grass field. Watching this tadpole jump into the water and went his mother. Mother asked to know, how was the grass field? The tadpole narrated the aforementioned incident thoroughly with trembling face. Hearing this, his mother began to laughing and laughing. She said how big that ox was! The tadpole said a vast size. The mother frog began to swell herself and said was he bigger than this? The tadpole said, yeah, mom he is bigger than this. Mother frog gradually swells herself and asked the same question to the tadpole but the tadpole answered the same reply. Hearing this, mother frog swelled herself as far as possible with rage and died due to excessive swelling herself.

So, from the above mentioned story we get lessons that don’t be so boastful. Because, it only hurts ourselves not other.

Real mother loves his child wholeheartedly.

Once upon a time, there lived two families in a village. The two families lived side by side, women of the two families were not in good term with one another on different issues, By chance, they became pregnant and were about to bear children.

At the eleventh hour of bearing children, they were taken to the same houses. A nurse was there to look after two child bearing mothers. At the time of delivery, the nurse allowed none in the house, The nurse found that one woman bore a baby boy but she became senseless just after the of the child.

On the other hand, the other woman bore a dead baby boy and she was in pensive mood for bearing a dead child. She at once hit upon a plan. She somehow managed the nurse and replaced her dead child by the alive of that woman. After a few minutes, the woman got her sense and cried out loudly seeing the dead child beside her. She could not believe that this dead child was hers. She became almost mad about what to do because she was very much sure that there was something wrong. The nurse told a lie about the two children.

Finding no other way, the woman went to the Quazi for Justice. The Quazi listened to the woman's prayer. Then, he summoned the two women. He asked them to let him know the truth. Both the women claimed for the alive baby boy. At last, the Quazi hit upon a plan. He decided to solve the problem technically. He informed both the women that he would cut the baby into two equal pieces and give one piece to each of them.

At this, real mother of the baby burst into tears and said, "Your majesty, please, don't kill my baby. Allow it to live and give it to that woman so that I may feel that my baby is still alive with her." The false mother, on the other hand, kept silent and did not utter even a single word. In this way, the fact was detected and the Quazi handed the baby to its real mother and punished the pretended and false mother of the child.

Who will bell the cat.

Once the house of a rich man was infested with rats. The house became like the town Hamelin. There were rats everywhere. They were having a good time. But the members could not enjoy sound sleep. Even the little babies were not free from the attack and biting of the rats. The rats would take away foods, cut cloths and tear holes here and there. All the members were in great trouble.

At last the owner of the house hit upon a plan! He knew that
rats would run away at the sight of cats. So, he bought a cat. The mice were very afraid of the cat. They fell in a great difficulty because they could not move freely as before. So a few days later, all the mice held a meeting to discuss the matter and find a way to be free from this danger.

Several proposals were made but none of the proposal was good enough to
accept. At one point, it seemed to them that they had to finish the meeting without finding any fruitful measure. Right at that moment, a young mouse rose to speak and said, I have a good plan for your consideration. Let us tie a bell round the cat's neck, and then we will hear him coming and be able to hide ourselves in time." All the mice appreciated the young mouse for his good plan and thanked him.

At last, an old mouse stood up and said, no
doubt the idea of the young mouse is good, but who will tie the bell?" Hearing this all the mice remained silent and felt disappointed. They understood it very well that it’s really very dangerous to tie the bell round a cat's neck and he who will go to implement this tusk must die. At last the meeting ended without finding any way out and they had nothing to do but to migrate eventually.

Physical labour is the best medicine.

Once there was an old king. He was averse to physical labour. As a result. he grew very fat and could n0t move from one place to another easily. He called on a doctor. The doctor was very clever and wise. He could easily understand that the idleness of the king is the root cause of his obesity.

He thought that if he could reduce the obesity of the king, he would
feel well. But the only way to do this was to advise the king to do physical labour. The doctor was afraid how he could ask a king for physical labour. He also thought that if he advised him to do physical labour and if the king didn't do so, he would grow more bulky.

Finally, he hit upon a plan. He told the king that his physical condition was not good at
all and that's why he needed immediate treatment. Hearing this, the king became gloomy and told the doctor to do everything for his cure. The doctor assured him saying that there was only one medicine for it but it was somehow difficult for anyone to apply. The king told him that he would do everything for his cure.

Then, the doctor gave him a club and
told him to brandish it in the morning and in the evening for at least one hour each day. At the very beginning day, when the king started brandishing the club, he became very tired. Sweat came out of his body and he found the task very difficult. He had no way but to do that. The king continued doing the job for one month. After a month, he found himself fresh and healthy. His bulky body became normal and he looked very smart.

After a month, the doctor
called on the king in his palace. The king was very happy to see the doctor. The doctor told the king that physical labour is the best medicine to keep the body fit. The king understood the doctor's technique. He praised the doctor and thanked him for prescribing such a good medicine for him. He also rewarded him.

Truthfulness has its reward ,

Once there lived a woodcutter. He was very poor but honest. He lived on the bank near a jungle. He used to cut wood in the jungle. By doing this hard task, he little and somehow maintained his family. One day he went to the jungle to cut he was cutting wood, all on a sudden the axe fell into the river. There was strong the river.

The woodcutter tried heart and soul to find out his axe but failed. It means of his livelihood. He was too poor to buy another axe. He knew it very well that without this axe he and his family members would starve. Thinking this he sat motionless and began to cry like a child. A fairy heard him cry. She decided to test him .So she came to him and asked him why he was crying. The woodcutter told her about his miserable condition and asked her if she could help him.

Hearing this, the fairy felt pity for him and wanted to help him. But as she wanted to test him, she dived into the river and returned with a golden axe. Showing the golden axe she asked him if that was his axe. As he was an honest, he told her that was not his. The fairy again dived into the water and came back with a silver axe and asked him if that was his axe. The man again replied in the negative. The fairy went into the river water for the third time and returned with the real axe.

Seeing his lost axe, the wood cutter became very happy and told her that was his axe. He thanked her and showed his gratefulness to her. The fairy was also very happy to see the honesty of the poor woodcutter and wished to reward him. She offered him all the three axes as reward and forbade him to-say 'No'. The woodcutter happily accepted the award.

From the story, we learn that honesty is the best policy and we all should be honest in every sphere of life.As a result, the Creator will graces upon us in danger.

Try and you will get the path.

It was a hot day in summer. There was scorching hit of the sun. On that day a crow became very thirsty. It wanted to drink but there was no water around it. So it began to fly and look for water. It flew on and on in search of water but in vain.

Then it took a rest as it was tired. After that it started flying in search of water for the second time. All on a sudden, it found a jar in a field. Its joys knew no bounds seeing the jar. So it flew down near the jar. When it peeped into the jar, to its surprise it found a little water at the bottom of the jar. It tried heart and soul to reach the water level but failed. Because the neck of the jar was too narrow for the crow to enter into it.

Then it thought it had to leave the place without drinking. When it was about to leave the place, a new plan came to his mind. It found some pebbles scattered around the jar. It picked the pebbles one after another into the jar. As a result the water level of the jar rose up. When the water came near its reach, it drank it and quenched its thirst and flew away.

In our daily life, many event occurred and we felt worry .Because, no paths to solve the problem appeared before us. If we think alternative way to solve the problem then it became easy.

From the above story, we can clearly say that where there is a will, there is a way.

True happiness lies in contentment.

Once there lived a happy cobbler who passed his days in working and singing from morning till night. A rich neighbour of his was a banker who one day said to him “How much a year do you earn?” The cobbler laughed and said, “How much a year sir, I never reckoned in that way, living as I do from hand to mouth; each day somehow brings its meal and I am happy.

The banker said, “I have resolved to place you above the fear of want. Take these thousand pounds, preserve them carefully and use them in time of need.” The cobbler, who had never seen so much money at a time in his life before, hurried home and buried his treasure in the earth. But alas! He buried his happiness with it too. Because, at night he could not enjoy a sound sleep. He would remain alert the whole night. He would think of the money.

Thus he lost his sleep and happiness. One day he went to the banker and told him that his money snatched away his sleep. So, he told the banker to take his money back. Finally, the cobbler returned the money to the banker. Again he was able to enjoy sound sleep an d mental peace and happiness. Thus, it was proved that true happiness lies in contentment.

Most of people seek their happiness in the midst of money. For this they became very selfish and nor cooperative to people. They earn a lot by doing this but would not be happy. Finally they feel tired in life. At last they compelled that money may be the weapon of financial freedom but never elements of happiness. only happy lies in mind.
